2022 Arnold Baillot Meursault
This Meursault is composed of roughly 30 percent premier cru and 70 percent village sourced grapes coming from Cote des Blancs located in Cote de Beaune. The wine is aged in 25 percent new oak along with remaining French oaks. Bouquet of thick pomelo skins, mingled with lemon skins alongside concentrated honey. Content is ripe and fruit forward, very dense and compact, almost honey-like. The style is a very typical Meursault character with acidity being in the background mainly being masked by the powerful fruits. If you would like to witness how a Meursault style wines, Arnold Boillot’s production is a very typical Meursault style.
